The commune of Fino del Monte in the Province of Bergamo may be the original seat of the Finezzi family.
Fino del Monte (Fì dol Mùt in Bergamasque dialect) is a small village of approximately 1,100 inhabitants, situated on the high plain of Clusone in the upper Seriana Valley, about 35 km northeast of Bergamo city and 80 km northeast of Milan.
